Paul & Jeanne's Timeline 2003
November–Paul and Jeanne decide to adopt a baby girl from China and the Paper Chase begins! We attend an open house at New Hope Child and Family Agency with Pete, Joan, and KatyRose. (Paul is scared terrified.)
November through March–Jeanne and Paul collect mountains of paperwork for the New Hope application and dossier (birth, marriage certificates, financials, tax returns, new passports, a gazillion miscellaneous forms, ALL have to be notarized and authenticated by the secretary of state from the state it came from: CA, MI, LA!!)
December–Ella Bella is ours! Paul surprises Jeanne with a ten-week-old yellow lab puppy. Jeanne is so in love!
