See Jeanne's blog for full itinerary and China trip journal. 1/25–received Consulate Appointment Date, 2/27/06, 10am!!! 1/20–received Travel Approval ........................................................ 2005 December–12/12/05 RECEIVED REFERRAL!!!! MEET CHLOE!!! August–October–still waiting for referral 6/25–3 month anniversary of DTC. woohoo! 3/27–Paul and Jeanne celebrate DTC with friends. View photos. 3/25–WE ARE DTC!!! ITS OFFICIAL!!! 3/20–Paul and Jeanne celebrate their 12th anniversary. 2/25–USCIS approval of I600-A. We will be DTC in March! ........................................................ 2004 11/15–Fingerprinting at the Homeland Security office in Tacoma. 11/1–Paul and Jeanne decide on a name: Chloe Simone 10/23–Paul and Jeanne attend an all-day New Hope adoption seminar on the beautiful Seattle Christa campus in the Library building. 10/20–The paper chase is completed and sent to New Hope. 9/22–Home study is complete and sent to Homeland Security. 6/1-9/10–Home study interviews and paperwork. 5/18–Jeanne & Paul get their physicals from Dr. Coghlan's office in Seattle. 4/5–We mail our formal application (among other paperwork) to New Hope to initiate the international adoption process. ........................................................ 2003 12/18–ten week old Ella Bella joins the family. 11/5-3/25–Jeanne and Paul collect mountains of paperwork for the New Hope application and dossier. 11/1–Paul and Jeanne decide to adopt a baby girl from China and the paper chase begins! |
